After much appreciated help from both sides of the family, it was finally time for us to settle in with Cameron on our own.  The week started with a crazy storm Sunday morning that knocked our power out for almost the entire Sunday.  With no power and thus, no heat, the temperature was in the 50’s in our house so we did our best to bundle Cam up and keep her nice and cozy!

Luckily we were headed down to San Jose for Cam’s newborn photo shoot, so we got out of the house for the entire afternoon.  Cameron did her best to sleep on command at the shoot, although it was pretty stressful for mommy and daddy watching their little one perform under pressure.  We’ll post those pics when we get them back from the photographer.  Thanks Jessie (Salas), you did an awesome job and we can’t wait to see the results!

Cameron also got her first bath this week, which was a little less eventful than we imagined it would be:

Little Cam is a good little sleeper, but she is quite a fighter when it comes to trying to get her to close her eyes.  She would much rather hang out on her tummy all day long.  Look at that head lift!
