We made our 2nd annual trek down to San Clemente this week to celebrate 4th of July with our very good friends the Lawrences. We were greeted by the Lawrence boys saying “happy birthday America” – sooo cute and patriotic! We had an awesome time with some great friends in our favorite little beachside town. Thank you B&A & fam, and count us in for 2013, we’ll bring sleeping bags as we grow!

The day started off with a community parade. Cameron had her own decorated car to “drive” around (thanks to Annika’s mom Jan!) and she loved it! Definitely need to buy one of these push cars.

This parade is a BIG event!

After the parade we spent some time at the beach. It was overcast, but warm enough and good for our fair-skinned munchkin.

We finished off the day with a scrumptious BBQ at Annika’s parents house.

Cameron stayed up past 9pm to watch the fireworks. She was somewhat unphased by the sights and sounds, preferring to just run around in the backyard.
