This was a Christmas of firsts…  Nick’s first California Christmas, our first Christmas putting presents under the tree and our first Christmas as a foursome!

This was also Nick’s first Christmas Eve putting toys together! Check out his handy work on that Kitchen that came in a box with about 300 panels, bolts and screws!

Cameron was a little confused when she came out of her room in the morning – we prepped her that Santa had come and brought her presents, but she wasn’t really comprehending. She did get very excited when she saw all the presents and wanted to play with her new kitchen immediately. Opening presents was a VERY slow process that we completed in stages. It was a great Christmas morning with just the 5 of us (including Meaghan’s mom who joined us for the holiday). Thanks to the grandparents and aunts and uncles who loaded us up with presents and made it look like we were REALLY nice parents!

The only Christmas present that mattered…
