Super Bowl

Football season is a BIG deal at our house. We love it when September arrives with that first Saturday College Gameday and pair that with NFL Sundays — there you have it for the rest of the fall into winter. Rarely a weekend goes by, that we are not watching football. We have been working hard to transfer our love of this great game to our little girls and we think it is working.

This season was especially sweet with Notre Dame making it to the BCS Championship (unfortunately they got crushed) and the Ravens and 49ers cruising all the way to the Super Bowl! And although Meaghan has been a Ravens fan for the last several years while the 9ers have been subpar, she quickly (and briefly) switched back her allegiance to her hometown team. To be fair, we shared the love with a red and a purple #52.

Mackie’s Patrick Willis jersey only got one day of use, but Cameron has been rockin’ Ray Ray all season (and chanting “Go Ravens!”)…

Nevertheless, on Super Bowl Sunday the girls, all three of them, went SB Party hopping at the Kenig’s and the Poirier’s while Nick ventured to New Orleans to experience the game first hand.

Izzy even showed her true colors with purple and yellow bedding!

And just for memory’s sake…the good guys won!
