We made the long journey to Baltimore on Christmas Eve landing in DC at 11:30pm. By the time we got to Bert & Baba’s house it was well past everyone’s bedtimes! After a night of very little sleep (except for Mackenzie’s hibernation), Santa paid us a visit and we got to open all the presents. Although Cameron told Santa (and her mom & dad) that she wanted a bike for Christmas, her excitement when seeing it under the Christmas tree was less than overwhelming. She was a little confused and thought maybe it was some other kiddo’s bike. Once Aunt Jen, Uncle Dave and the cousins arrived, Cam got into her groove opening gifts. Mac finally awoke just before 11am and Cam opened most of her gifts too.

We wrapped up the morning with a delicious brunch and had a bit of down time before we headed out to the big family celebration.
