We LOVE IT in S.C. for the 4th and sadly we were unable to make the trip last year. This year we made sure it happened, although it was touch-and-go for the few days prior. We had a bit of a scare before we left. Cam was sick Wednesday with a a tummy ache and sky high temperature. She even had what we later found out was a fever seizure (caused by a rapid rise in temperature). Poor girl pretty much passed out and turned purple for a few seconds before regaining consciousness. That’s about as scary as it gets for us! Anyway, we delayed our flights a day and flew down to SoCal the morning of the 4th and everyone seemed to be in good spirits. Sadly we missed the 4th of July morning parade, but the rest of the day (and weekend) was awesome. The girls had such a blast hanging with the Lawrence’s and as you can see below, Cam got to spend lots of time with her bestie Izzy!

We spent lots of beach time during the day and watched the fireworks explode over the ocean that night.

Mac was comfortable in the beach chair, but deathly afraid of the water…
