We love 4th of July! For the last couple years we have had the best time celebrating in San Clemente with our friends The Lawrence’s.  We had planned to head down there again this year, but Nick was just not feeling great, so we decided to cancel last minute. We can’t wait to pick that tradition up next year, because it just wasn’t the same celebrating in Marin. That being said, we are very lucky to live where we live. Fourth of July festivities were literally a 5 minute stroll away at the local park. Before we left we had a photo shoot with the girls…

We didn’t make it to the parade as they were delayed 40 min and we had a blowout with no diaper bag handy! Cam had fun though and we felt festive.

After naptime we headed to the pool!

And what 4th of July would be complete without a wedge of juicy watermelon?

Kids in bed by 7…no fireworks for us this year!!
